COMPILATION RELEASE FESTIVAL IN BELGRADE:
November 9-12: fb.me/e/5vGr0Yqu9

"The Music of the Secret Society that Owns Belgrade" is a series of compilations and festivals by Inverted Spectrum Records that aims to document and promote the underground and sub-underground music scene of Belgrade and its environs. Having begun in 2018, the project has included diverse styles of music, with a focus on psychedelic and avant-garde forms of rock, jazz and punk, experimental electronics, and intersections of traditional music with contemporary forms. Whereas the first three volumes focused on a small circle of stylistically diverse but like-minded and interconnected bands, the current volume expands the scope in terms of contributors and styles, in order to provide a broader representation of the alternative musical life in the Serbian capital, which was recently enriched by the appearance of intriguing new bands as well as the arrival of thousands of members of the Russian creative class which left their home country following the onset of the war. Today, Belgrade is home to one of the most authentic and inspiring music scenes that exists in the world, and we hope that this compilation series contributes to broadening the attention it deserves both globally and within Serbia itself.

The release festival for the Fourth Volume of the compilation series will be held in Belgrade in Kvaka 22 (November 9 and 10) Elektropionir (November 11) and Guvernanta (November 12), featuring 12 live acts that contributed to the latest and previous volumes of the album, along with 6 DJ sets: fb.me/e/5vGr0Yqu9
